Welcome Kevin Mackay!

Vi kan nu presentera nästa nyförvärv inför säsongen 2022/23. Ytterligare en amerikan är på väg till oss, Kevin Mackey, en 25-årig målvakt som senast spelat i Robert Morris University i ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association, samma liga som Tristan Waechter spelat i). Senaste säsongen spelade Kevin 17 matcher, flest av målvakterna i laget och hade 92 % räddningar. Kevin är född i Arnold, Maryland (en förort till huvudstaden Annapolis). Arnold har ca 24000 invånare och ligger ca 45 km öster om USA:s huvudstad Washington.

- I will bring leadership, energy, and a strong work ethic to the team. I will battle everyday on and off the ice.

Your best skills (on ice)?
- My best skills on the ice are communication and playing the puck.

Your best memory on ice?
- Making the national tournament my freshman year of college as the last team to make our conference playoffs.

Other interests than hockey?
- I love to golf.

What have You been studying at Robert Morris University? Do You have any degrees and what will be Your profession after education?
- I am graduating Robert Morris this weekend with a business administration degree in management.

Your expectations for next season and Your visit in Sweden?
- My expectations are to have a strong season and make a push towards division 2, while enjoying the year with my teammates on and off the ice.
